On Tuesday 16th June at 6.30pm there will be a screening of an amazing feature from 1978 by Claudia Weill - Girlfriends. It’s a poignant comedy about trying to find one’s way as an artist. The tone, the acting, the camera, the editing allows the audience, the reader, to find themselves in it and ponder on it long after the film has ended. I’m very excited to be talking with Claudia Weill after the screening.

Drawing on the Bottle is my new live drawing show. I am working with a dramaturg, Professor Jen Harvie, to explore the show and work the elements in it. Excited to share it with an audience.

I draw the person as they talk. Their ideas blossom around their portrait. I draw the interactions. It's a sensory way to remember the day and recall it. Here is an example from the RCN climate change event in Birmingham
