Who am I?
I’m Lisa Gornick, a filmmaker, performer, and artist. My work spans award-winning feature films like Do I Love You? and Tick Tock Lullaby to live drawing shows that blend real-time drawing with performance.
My current live drawing show, The Many Faces of Eve, is on at The Omnibus Theatre: Saturday December 6th 4pm and 7.45pm, Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th December, here is a link to tickets.
The Many Faces of Eve is a reworking of the classic 1950s melodrama, All About Eve. Drawing real time projected drawings to illustrate my solo performance of the whole film, I use voice over, comedy, music and art to create a unique DIY cinema experience. This is my first show to explore existing films and is part of the Deconstruction Season at The Omnibus Theatre.
Next March 2026, I will be presenting my Collected Live Drawing Shows, a kind of best hits so far from the last 12 years of live drawing show creation. This will be at The Omnibus Theatre again and here is information and tickets.
I invite you to join me—whether you're interested in a workshop, a collaboration, or just a conversation about my work. Let’s draw, connect, and create together.
