writing the live drawing show

I rarely totally improvise a live drawing show. Not that I wouldn’t like to give that a go. I think even if it was improvised I would have a score to play from.

Today I have got immersed in writing up the words that I became used to saying in Drawing on The Bottle.

In my films there is a script, that all the actors and myself learnt. I am in the middle of the rehearsals today, considering the weight of having a set script and the lightness of having a list of moments that I then draw and riff to. I am enjoying writing the words down. Shaping them too.
